About this event:
Downtown Gadsden is excited to welcome back First Friday on September 4 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Cars will fill parking areas as well as the interior lanes on Broad Street. Live music will be performed from locations on the sidewalk, food vendors serving cool drinks and tasty treats, and our downtown retail stores and restaurants will stay open late to welcome attendees. Broad Street will close to vehicle traffic at approximately 3:00 p.m. for event setup.
A great entertainment lineup will include Connor Butler at 2nd & Broad, New Delusions at 3rd & Broad, Mother May I at 4th & Broad, Kings of Swing at 5th & Broad, and square dancers in the courtyard on the 600 block.
Be sure to include a visit to the Center for Cultural Arts and Gadsden Museum of Art to see their great exhibits.
The guidelines for First Friday include no pets, no personal coolers or glass containers, no skateboards or roller blades and no advertising or fundraising.
