What better way to start the Labor Day weekend! Friday, September 1^st, join us as Downtown Gadsden hosts the popular First Friday event from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Live music will emanate from locations on the sidewalk, food vendors will tempt with cool drinks and tasty treats, and our downtown retail stores and restaurants will stay open late to welcome attendees.

During First Friday, Broad Street will be closed to automobile traffic to allow pedestrians to easily cross the street to enjoy the event. A full Entertainment lineup will include Ed Howard Band at 2^nd and Broad, Pickers & Grinners at 3^rd & Broad, Coosa Phat Katz at 4^th & Broad, The Zillionaires at 5^th & Broad, and Ms. Nikki (karaoke) in the 600 Block.

Don’t forget to include a visit to the Gadsden Museum of Art to see the great exhibits and The Gadsden Artisan & Farmers Market located at 701 1^st Avenue as you stroll the streets.
