First Friday returns with a bang on July 4th. Join us as we celebrate Independence Day in Downtown Gadsden.
Live entertainment includes, at 3rd & Broad – Vyntage, 4th & Broad – Diedra the Blues Diva, and at 5th & Broad – Kings of Swing.
Check out the great shopping and dining and don’t forget to include a visit to the Gadsden Museum of Art and the Center for Cultural Arts too!
The City is billing Friday as the BIGGEST 4TH OF JULY PARTY IN THE SOUTH! Please be on the lookout for multiple street closures, with Highway 411 closing at 2:00 from Chili’s to Walnut Street. This year, fireworks will be shot from the Memorial Bridge which will be closing at 3:00pm along with Broad Street. Streets will reopen after the fireworks show is completed. In addition to classic cars and great entertainment on Broad Street, the fun continues with the Nash County Band playing the Summer Concert Series at Riverside Park from 7 – 9pm. Great music, great fun, and lots to do as we celebrate our nation’s independence!
All events are free to attend.
