About this event:
On Friday, October 4, Downtown Gadsden will wrap up the 2024 First Friday season from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Broad Street will be closed about 4:30pm so that classic cars can park along the interior lanes as well as in the regular parking slots.
It’s a great time to enjoy a fall evening downtown while supporting local retail shops, restaurants, and The Gadsden Museum of Art and The Cultural Arts Center.
Multiple locations along the street will feature live music performances from local and regional bands. Food vendors will provide an array of drinks and treats.
Entertainment will include Conner Butler at Gadsden Hardware, Pickers & Grinners at 3rd & Broad, Matt Harvey Band at 4th & Broad, and Love Rat at 5th & Broad.
Never Surrender for Breast Cancer Awareness will be at 5th & Broad, and Riverview Regional Medical Center will be at 4th & Broad demonstrating CPR, breast cancer awareness and will be handing out swag.
The guidelines for First Friday include no pets, no personal coolers or glass containers, no skateboards or roller blades and no advertising or fundraising.
